Tweaks are mods, that aren't really big (like the enderdragon mod), but they're practical/fun. Current tweaks are Better Sprinting, that allows you to define sprint key and toggle sprint key, Vintage Creepers that brings back survival test creepers - they look down until you're near and explode when they die, Absorbing chests+ that allows chests, dispensers, furnaces, jukeboxes, brewing stands absorb dropped blocks and items, and Admin GUI which converts commands into buttons, you can add new commands for either player menu (kick, ban...) or server menu (day, night, rain...)!
