Could a simple idea be realized? This is a Minecraft Protocol, allowing people to join servers from the comfort of their desktop or browser. Or will allow. Check the video (click Read full article...) and post your feedback, as what sounds like a simple idea, could turn into a revolution.

I know that and I used them, but you still need to click the Login button, I would've liked it completely automated ;).

I don't know if you already know this, but default minecraft launcher already does accept command-line arguments http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Launcher#Command-line_usage
